Let us know how it goes. My doc is also possibly doing this procedure for me next week. I think people are under the impression that it will immediately throw you into labor though, and from what I read it usually doesn't. It's not l ike breaking your water or anything, it just ripens the cervix a little more. Some people will go into labor a couple days later, but only if the baby was already ready, from what I've read. I read that everything has to be favorable for this to cause you to go into labor. I have been told that it is a pretty common procedure. I'm sure the doctors know what they are doing.
