And bring on the MS (TMI)

So I was hoping I would be one of the few that didnt experiance this, but this morning it hit me.  I am still very very tired, but now I feel like i am going to throw up on my desk.  Nothing is coming up just a lot of burping...Sorry for the TMI  Ick!

Re: And bring on the MS (TMI)

  • Coke really helps settle my belly.  When I was little my mom would always give it to me when I wasn't feeling well.  Try and munch on some saltines or pretzels too if you can.

I'm sorry, it sucks.  I totally feel your pain.

  • I'm in bed right now with tortilla chips and a candy cane.  With Finn saltines always left a horrible taste in my mouth, but tortilla chips are awesome.

  • For me Coke just made it WORSE!  So I drink the pregnancy teas.  My favorite is by Traditional Medicinials.  Yogi has a pretty good pregnancy tea too but the Traditional Medicinals helps with the queezyness part of it.

  • The burps are the worst.  I would think I was going to t/u and then I would just burp.  usually I feel better after but they are tricky!!
  • I too was hoping to be lucky (my mom didnt have it with any of her 4 children).  Unfortunately it started for me yesterday.  Yesterday was unbearable at work and I thought many times of leaving early.  Today I pulled out the sea sickness bands and they have worked wonders (who knows...could even just be mental).  I also recommend eating as soon as you get up.  Everytime I feel so nauseas at my desk I am afraid I need to go to the bathroom, I take a few sips of sprite and it seems to help.  I definitely recommend the bands though---and they are easy to hide under sweater season ;-)

I've used the bands for the past two days and think they help too!  DH announced last night he thinks it's mental... but who cares if it works!

that's how i was with my 2nd.  i was always queasy, but never enough to throw up, just felt the need to burp...but couldn't.  when it got really bad i would drink some fresh, room temperature sierra mist (or sprite/7-up).  something really fizzy with no caffeine.  it helped me burp, and helped reduce the queasiness.
