Coughing fits?

Max will get these coughing fits and I don't know what to do for him. He will cough for a couple minutes sometimes. He's had a little bit of congestion, but it's more like when you get a tickle in your throat or something goes down the wrong "pipe" kind of a cough. When he starts I will pat his back, but that doesn't help.

What should I do for him? He's not sick, and he only does it a couple times a day (mainly at night when he's sleeping), so a trip to the dr wouldn't do any good.

    Just make sure he is upright after he starts coughing so he can clear his throat and he should be fine.  (Fine to let him lay down again after the coughing passes.)  It is probably just drool going down the wrong pipe.
