Started bleeding last night, just a little.

Well, I do have to blame my DH. Embarrassed It was after we were intimate and he noticed his equipment was a little bloody, so we used an old white towel to clean up to asses the damage. I was only bleeding a small bit, maybe a few ounces, so we didn't go to L&D. With my DS we had a similar experience, except I was bleeding massively, and when we got to L&D they told us we were fine and sent us home. I knew because it was just a small bleed, and didn't happen much throughout the night either so I'm not bleeding profusely- which would definitely be a sign to go in- that it's nothing to worry about.

But OY do the contractions feel tighter now. I certainly hope that for the worrisome blood last night that some good came out of it. Maybe I'm dilated at least to a 4 now. That would be nice. 

 Seems there's a lot going wrong with all of us when we do the dirty with our SO's!!

    Seems like at this point, anything out of the ordinary down there is cause for excitement!  I kept getting cramps last night that I thought were contractions...I actually started timing them, and was super excited when they were coming every 5 minutes or so, but only lasting 10-15 seconds, which I thought was weird.  Finally I realized after an extra explosive bathroom visit, that it was just indigestion.  Sigh.

    Glad the blood doesn't seem like it's anything to worry about.  When's your next appointment to see if you're dialated any further than a 4?

    I hope this is finally it for you. You've been going through a lot with all those contractions lately. I would love for something out of the ordinary to happen, but I've never even felt so much as a BH. Ho hum. All in his/her time.

    My next midwife appt. is tomorrow, and I'm excited because my DH can tag along! It'll be the first time this whole pregnancy he's been to an appt. with me. We would both like to think that with all the weeks of contractions I've been having now (almost 2wks, yuck) that my body is doing something it's supposed to, but we're not expecting change unfortunately. I do think if she checks me and I'm not dilated that I WILL cry. It'll just feel like my body's not doing what it's supposed to. I'm 39wks this Thurs.
