Springfield moms of toddlers
Hello. I am a stay at home mom to a 15 month old son. I'd love to meet other moms and babies/toddlers in Springfield and possibly create a playdate group.
Anyone interested?
I have met several nice moms from my meetup.com group, but haven't met many from Springfield. I know there are a lot of moms and babies in my area, but I don't know how to go about meeting them. Hopefully this site will help.

I'm in Springfield too, but I am not SAHM so no weekly playdates for me. There is a Springfield MOMs Club which may interest you. Therir website seems to eb down (www.momsclubspringfieldva.org ), but here is the about page: https://dc.about.com/od/familyactivities/a/Momsclubs.htm. You may also want to check out storytime at the local library for other local SAHM moms. MOPS has a lot of local chapters as well (https://www.mops.org/). Contrary to the name, your child does not need to be in preschool to join: https://www.mops.org/.

Jellisy, Thanks for the great ideas. I will keep checking back with Moms Club of Springfield. Hopefully their site will be up and running soon. I see that Mops has a chapter less than a mile from me. Worth looking into also. I have taken my son to a couple of library storytimes already. They're great and he really seems to enjoy them. Thanks again!
