Does anyone know or have firsthand experience in their family with PPD? Is it random or is your risk greater if there is someone in your family who has had it or has had any depression at all?
I have read that the risk is greater if somebody in your family has had any type of depression. My mom had it after all 4 of her kids but she got better pretty quick. I'm 2 months post partum and still dealing with it.

This! But I am much better now at 6 months but mine is due to medication and therapy....plus all the love on here
