heartbeat, normal 7 week U/S. Whew!

Hi everyone-- I posted a few weeks ago about my concerns about not seeing a fetal pole at 5w4d after some spotting (https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/47800380.aspx)...well, the good news (for anyone with similar concerns) is that I had a totally normal U/S today with a healthy heartbeat at exactly 7 weeks, measuring exactly the right size. Whew! It was CRAZY seeing the baby looking...well, almost like a baby! There s/he is in my signature-- it's wild how a little misshapen kidney bean of a blob could be so radically life-changing!

This makes me very happy to see! I didn't see a fetal pole at our 5w4d appt and I go again this thurs. I will be about 6w5d and I'm praying to see a HB. I have been so nervous since that last u/s. Congrats again on your little bean!
