My girls are both having surgery Wednesday .. minor surgery but I'm freaking out

Katie is having her tubes reinserted and Karly is having her adnoids removed and tubes placed. I know it will for the best but anethesia worries the crap out of me.

We have done both so I certainly understand your fears. Sending prayers your way. Fwiw...the adenoid surgery is not painful for them and it made a huge difference for Ry. The worst part of that one is the bad breath for weeks after. Stay positive

I'm sorry! I know I'd be worried too. My brother had tubes when he was about 1-2 years old and I think he was fine!

It's hard! I know that getting tubes is an extremely minor surgery, but I was a mess the days leading up to DD's surgery! I was surprisingly ok in the waiting room, but I did watch the clock until the ENT came out to talk to us.

It's funny because my nieces both had tubes and my good friend's little girl had them as well. I thought they were crazy for worrying like they did... until I had DD and she had to go through it!

I'll keep them in my thoughts... I'm sure they'll do fine!!

((HUGS)). I hope everything goes perfectly. I think the hardest thing about it is that you have to give up total control - and just put faith in the doctors and nurses caring for them. They are going to be fine, and won't remember a thing! And you'll be fine too!

It is nerve wracking! LO had to be put under last September. They gave him something that made him a bit loopy, but, he was not scared when he went back for his surgery because of it. He was upset when he came around, well, after giving the nurse a big smile. Once I was able to hold him, which happened quickly, he was fine.

My thoughts are with you and your family. Just think of how infrequently the girls will get sick after this is done!!!!

The girls will do great! They will be such quick procedures! The general was scary when we did it with Jacob too, but he was back to himself later that day! Good luck, hon!

I'm sorry. I'm sure it's plenty hard to have one child going into surgery, I can only imagine how hard it will be to have 2 having surgery the same day. I will keep you, Katie and Karly in my thoughts an prayers. (((Big Hugs)))
