I'm not sure when to start using my jogger. DS is almost 2 months old. He can support his neck now but won't be sitting up independently for awhile. How old was your LO when you first took them out for a jog?
they say not to do it until they are about 4 mo i think? But if you are running on a smooth terrain and have a nice jogger, I don't see why you couldn't do it sooner...
I just want to say how jealous I am that you can even consider using a jogging stroller right now... Here there's almost 3 ft of snow on the ground and the high for tomorrow is 9 degrees. I won't start using one for a long time!
I power walked with DD in the jogger at like 4 weeks pp, but I didn't full blown jog with her until she was 5 mos. old-- the jostling around is bad for their little brains and they need to be big enough to take the bumps/fit comfortably in the jogger.
Thanks for the replies! Guess I have a while to go before jogging with DS.
And to my cold climate bumpies...it's actually been freezing here! I had to scrape ice off my car the other day (ok nothing new to you, but that's NOT Florida weather!)
We used a car seat adapter starting at 2 weeks for walking and running soon after. I run on smooth pavement and there was no more bumping than in any other stroller where you have the car seat adapter.
