Stinky breath

My almost 8 month old has stinky breath.  It used to be so sweet.  We are brushing her two teeth and she doesn't mind me wiping her tongue.  Anyone else have a baby with this?  She is eating more solids, but it doesn't smell like food.  It smells more sour and just like morning breath.
Years of trying and treatment, IVF#1 brought us our darling C!

Re: Stinky breath

  • Jack's breath gets el-stinko when he has any kind of post-nasal drainage.  He had a series of colds from October into December and I was just like phew!  Where has my sweet breathed little toddler gone?  I'm thinking your girl is teething and that's causing some stinkiness/drainage - or she's battling a little cold and that could account for her baby halitosis!
    Wheee!

  • I agree with what Lucy said.  Reed sleeps with his mouth open and drools.  He always gets morning breath.  Also I have to floss his front teeth because they touch and food can get stuck in there.
