I have been recently diagnosed with PCOS, one night when I was reading one of my infertility books I can across a supplememnt called D-chiro-inositol (DCI). DCI is supposedly a natural supplement that is a member of the B-vitamin family. There is evidence that adding DCI as a daily supplement has been shown to reduce the symptoms of PCOS and help regulate menstrual cycles as well as ovulation.
I know this sounds gimicky... but I figured I would ask to see if anyone has heard of it or has had any luck with this supplement?
Thanks!
Re: Anyone heard of D-chiro-inositol to help w/ PCOS???
I have been taking Myo-inositol along with 3mg Melatonin to improve egg quality. I had read a few thing about the benefits for AMA patients and thought I had nothing to lose. Also there is a girl on the IF board who did a consult with CCRM and they recommned the concoction for her. She is AMA with PCOS. I've been on it three months. We will know shortly if it made a difference.
