Reading the post below I see many people say giving the registry info with the invitation is not "proper".....really? It must be an area thing, because I've never been to, given one, or received a shower, wedding (shower, not actual wedding) or baby, without giving the registry info. Granted, the shower is always given by someone else, but that's just how it's done where I'm from.
Re: Did you give registry info with baby shower invite?
The purpose of a wedding or baby shower is to "shower" the mother or bride with gifts. Gifts are the point of the party. A registry is expected.
A birthday is NOT about gifts.
They're different
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
I definitely agree about birthdays, I would never do it & I've never seen it done!
My registy info was on the bottom of my baby shower invite. That's the purpose of a shower...to shower with gifts.
