XP from IF: Ladies w/ multiple clomid cycles

We are starting IUI cycle number 2. I did 50 mgs of Clomid last cycle and only got one follicle. DH is diagnosed MFI and our numbers were so-so (6.5 million postwash).

During our treatment planning session my RE mentioned how he would like to see more than one follicle. However, I'm on the same dosage again this cycle. 

Has anyone responded better to Clomid after your first cycle? I'm just not sure if I should expect the same results or hope for better...

    Just to add: I posted a question about this last week and got some great advice about asking about meds. I absolutely trust my RE so when he said he wanted to keep the dosage the same I am all for it. Just hoping for some insight from those who have been through it!

    Yes I have been on 100mgs of Clomid twice.  1st round I produced one follie and the 2nd round I produced 2 so it is possible :)

    Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
    11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
    12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
    1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
    2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
    3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266

    My 3 clomid cycles were all 50 mg.  I responded well each time so that is why they kept the dosage the same.  I wondered about not having an increase too but with the number/size of my follies and b/w I figured RE had reasons for not changing it.

    I was on Clomid twice.  Once at 50mg and had 1 follicle and the 2nd time was with 100mg and had 2 follicles. 

    This will be my 3rd medicated cycle coming up in Feb and we are going the Femara route.  Hope to see more than 2 follicles since we are MFI too with low all 3.

    I have been monitored on clomid for 2 rounds. The first round I took 100mg and produced one 18mm follicle. On the second round I took 150mg and currently on CD17 I have no mature follicles, but several smaller ones. I am not sure that is helpful but I guess I am trying to say that your body can react differently each cycle. GL!

    I'm surprised your RE didn't up your dose but you can potentially have a different # of follies w/ the same dosage (at least in my experience). I've had 3 and 5 follies on the same dosage of Clomid.

    This is my 3rd round of 50mg of Clomid.  The first cycle I had one follicle, the next 2 I had 2.

    July 2011 - Gonal F, Ovidrel & IUI #5
    July 2011 surprise BFP on a break cycle before injects!!! Please let this be it!
