Holy 30-Day Shred!!!

Just completed day #1 of the 30-Day Shred.  Wowzers!  This winter has not been kind to my body!  Right after having DD (in June) we would go on 2- and 3-mile walks at the park almost every day.  Since the weather has been crap, I haven't done anything over the winter.  We have a rodeo in my hometown every year and its like a gigantic class reunion...EVERYBODY goes.  DD will have just turned 1 and I will be seeing people I haven't seen in two years.  I don't wanna look like I just had her!  lol  Sure hope my willpower holds out until then.  Anybody else done / doing this program?

  • Today was day 8 for me, it gets easier! I am also following weight watcher's point system, I have lost 5 lbs so far!!! Keep doing it everyday and it made me feel great!

  • I have never done the full 30 days but I have the dvd. I did pretty well with it before I was pregnant but I recently did if for the first time since have DS who was also born in June and I agree I am way more out of shape than I realized! Good luck with it, maybe I will break mine out again.

    Right?!  Its crazy how the out-of-shapeness sneaks up on you!

  • I got the DVD about TWO months ago and have yet to put the darn thing on.  My excuse is that I have about 3 hours when I get home to feed the girls, make/eat dinner, put the girls to sleep, then go to bed myself.  But that excuse doesn't really fly on the weekends, when I don't even get out of pjs until 1pm.  I'm just lazy. Stick out tongue  Glad to know it works...for when I finally get the motivation to do it!
  • Today was day 24 for me.  I have been on level 3 for about a week now.  And yes, it does get easier or I would have quit by day 5 lol.  I have been calorie counting as well, but I haven't lost many lbs, but I am DEF. gaining muscle/toning.  My DH used to be a personal trainer, he keeps telling me to ignore the scale and focus on the mirror.  It has  really made me feel better though.  Keep it up and GL!
  • I'm on D8 L1.  It is no joke!  If you go to the Health&Exercise board, they do daily check ins.  It does get easier too, like others have said.  I've only been doing it for 8 days but already see a huge difference.  It's neat to see myself doing moves I couldn't a few days ago.
