So... Whose baby has one of these birth marks and has it started fading? Lilly has one all over one of her eyelids and I can't tell if it's fading at all yet.
Torin has one. It had looked like it was starting to fade, but then it came back with a vengeance yesterday.
FWIW, my sister and my uncle both had the same thing. It faded after several months, my mom said. For my sister, she can still see hers every now and then, when her blood pressure is high or when she gets out of the shower.
Kyla has one on one of her eyelids and a heart shaped one between her eyebrows. I can't tell that they're fading away yet either.
My husband had one in between his eyebrows and on the back of his neck when he was a baby. MIL said it took forever for the one on his forehead to go away and the one on the back of his neck is still there.
Jack has one on the back of his head on his hair line and neck. I can't tell if it's a stork bite or his birth mark though. We're fair skinned so we're just not sure. It hasn't faded I don't think.

DS has a couple. He had one on his eyelid that has faded. He also has one on his forhead and on the tip of his nose. They have faded, but you can still see them.
He also has a large one on the back of his head that will hopefully be covered by hair at some point. They told us that this one will probably never go away.

My LO has a port wine stain...and those don't go away (but look very similar). We're actually taking him to see a dermatologist to see if laser treatment will fade it, as it runs all the way down onto his back (it is quite large).
Isy has one on her left eyelid and between her eyebrows. The one on forehead has faded quite a bit but not really the other one. My niece has on on her forehead as well and she's a year and its just now fading.
The pedi said it could take up to 2-3 years to disappear completely but might never fully go away and show up even as adults if they get really tense.
J has one on his eyelid, in between his eyebrows, and at the base of his neck. I do not think they have faded at all.
I had one in between my eye brows and at the base of my neck. The one at the base of my neck is still there and when I cry the one in between my eye brows appears.

My Lo has one on the back of her neck and one above her right ear that have faded but when she gets really upset they turn bright red for awhile. She also had one on her eyelid that has already totally gone away.
Addie has one on the back of her neck at her hairline. I don't really notice it unless she's hot from the bath or from crying. I didn't realize how common they were.

my LO has one on the back of her neck, under her hairline, It's faded a little bit but it was a really dark red when she was born, so any change looks like a big difference
Bella has one on her left eyelid and then one in the middle of her forhead. They have both faded drastically, but are still noticable some days more than others.

DS2 has a pretty big v-shaped one on his forehead, I think it is fading, but it shows up when he yells. My nephew had a pretty prominent stork bite on his forehead when he was a baby, but it faded within the first year, I'm pretty sure.
He also has a patch on the top of his head and the back of his neck - my sister and brother both have spots there. The ones on the back of the head don't fade.
Hartley has one on the back of her neck at her hairline and a small one above her butt. The neck one has started to fade some, but it serves as her barometer and gets redder when she is upset. The one above her rear has not changed or faded at all.
Natty has one on her nose. It's fading slowly, but it still shows up bright red when she's either A) really upset or pooping.
Unable to even.

Sawyer Quinn (09/06/06), Rory Keaton (04/07/08) and Kinsley Saffron (10/12/10). Forever and ever my babies they'll be. A rose can say "I love you",orchids can enthrall, but a weed bouquet in a chubby fist, yes, that says it all.~Author Unknown
