I was embarrassed to even admit this to my OB, but yesterday I was freaking out that my water was leaking. I was waiting for DH on a couch at Nordstrom and when I got up my pants felt damp, and I felt the couch and it was a bit damp too. Could have been there already, who knows, but my first thought was "OMG my water broke!". Assumed not the case, but watched it all day, and also noticed a lot more discharge than usual and very watery, not mucusy like normal.
So I very hesitantly mentioned today and she was nervous, esp. when I said I'd had upset stomach that I always associate with my body clearing out pre labor since that happened w/ Doodles. So she did a swab for amniotic fluid that was negative, and then an u/s just to be safe that showed normal fluid levels.
So, don't know what was on that couch, if I sat on something wet or peed myself. Awesome.
At least I got a peek at the Boodle and it is doing ok. Was hoping for a gender guess but the tech was hesitant to make a definitive guess, so we'll wait for 20 weeks.
Re: Diagnosis: I probably peed myself
Glad to hear everything is ok! And sweet....I was hoping you'd call the new baby Boodle. I love it!

I'm going with there was something on the couch before you sat down. Either way, I'm SO glad everything is OK.
And I love the name Boodle.

I'm glad everything is ok! And I'm so excited to see that you are expecting! I need to visit here more often.
Unfortunately I pee myself all the time these days. Peeing your pants is no fun.
