Anyone with thick/long hair? (nsaifr)

If you color it - how much do you pay for all over color and partial highlights? A friend who does hair quoted me around $70, just wanted to compare prices. :-)

    I pay about 100 for the first time color and then 45 for touch ups.
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    That's about what I pay.

    ETA:  Err.. I mean that's what I pay for all over color.

    I pay 70 for highlights and that is in a small town.

    Before I chopped all my hair off it was $85 for the color and a $15 extra products charge b/c of my think/long hair.

    I have been charged extra as well. It takes them a good three hours. I always feel bad.
