The girls curls usually frizz out and looks a mess or is dry. I'm using Suave baby shampoo and it really isnt' working. I didn't like J&J either. Recommendations? tia

I would recommend using conditioner. I know it sounds crazy, but especially with the dry air in the winter, it could help with the frizzies. I use Aveeno and Johnson and Johnsons bath products.
I recently was on the search for some detangler that would work, and ended up buying some shampoo and detangler from a kids salon. The brand is Circle of Friends and I got the raspberry shampoo, but the pineapple also smells wonderful.
It's a little spendy but will last a long time. I'm not a fan of J & J either, and have typically bought Burts Bees and something from The Body Shop, but I do like this stuff so far. I actually bought that shampoo and got the detangler for free so it was a good deal.

I know this sounds gross, but I only use shampoo on DD's hair about once a week or if it gets dirty. The rest of the time I use conditioner (Pantene) as shampoo. Her curls have never looked better.
Re: Moms of toddlers with lots of hair (mostly curly) what shampoo?

GL!
DD's hair is very curly on the ends (about 2/3 of her hair) and straight on top. It can look very frizzy or messy.
I use Suave kids shampoo with detangler, a bit of conditioner on the tips and spray Target brand kids detangler in after her bath. I use a ton! HTH
