Ideas on Beckett or Connor?

MH and I are having a hard time coming up with a name for our little guy. Here are two that we are currently liking but still not sure. Middle name is a family name and is set.

Beckett Robert

Connor Robert

Thoughts? Also, do you have any other ideas that might be similar tastes?

I really like Connor, but Beckett is a bit trendy for my tastes. I don't know that either name really flows with Robert well. Beckett and Robert both end with T and Connor and Robert are a little too close to rhyming.

Beckett is too trendy and Connor seems really, really commo or popular. My DD's class has two Connors. The names are okay, but I think they both have their downsides.

I like the Bennett suggestion. Beckett is crazy trendy and Connor, while a very nice name, seems really common lately.

I like Bennett so I'll run it by MH and see what he thinks. I really like Benjamin but it seems super popular right now so Bennett could be a good alternative and keep the NN Ben.

I LOVE Connor (obviously, since that's what I named my DS). I agree with PP that Beckett is a little too trendy for me. It's NMS.

I thought I liked Beckett until I had a student with that name. It always sounds like bucket when the kids call his name.
