Is this CM normal?

Hey ladies,

I know that increased cervical mucus and discharge is totally normal during pregnancy and the past couple of weeks, it has increased (hello, panty liners!) My question is should I be concerned if sometimes I wipe and it is globby and thick? It's usually more thin and creamy, just lots of it. But a few times a day I'll wipe and it will be more gooey or globby, and sometimes looks more like EWCM.

FWIW, it's always clear or milky looking, never smells weird or looks green or yellow and I don't have any itching or burning down there. I have my next appointment in a week and plan to ask my doctor about it then but I wondered if it was something I should put in a call for sooner or totally normal and I'm just being a hormonal worry wart.

    I'm pretty sure that what you've described is normal. There is no need to worry before your appointment next week.

    Sounds normal to me. My sister who is about 5 weeks pregnant asked me if its normal to pee out "what looks like a baby jellyfish" haha...

    I am experiencing the same thing. I asked my doctor about it, and he said it's normal. I've been going thru panty liners too! Eek! lol

    Thank you for the reassurance, ladies! I'll mention it at my appointment next week anyway but otherwise, I'm not going to worry about it. Some days I just get these irrational worries in my mind- dang hormones!

    I LOLed at the "baby jellyfish" and "shocked by what will come out of your body" comments! Wink

    My OB said the exact same thing to me at my last appointment.
