Baby Shower ?

Some of my girlfriends are having me a couples baby shower, and then my husbands Aunts are having me a traditional baby shower. Is it ok to invite some of my close girlfriends to both? I don't even want them to have to bring a gift to the traditional shower, but I want them at the shower. Mainly for support and because I like them to be at special events. Do I invite them and tell them to please not bring a gift to both, but that I would love to just have their company at the showers?

I think it's fine to invite your close friends to both showers, as long as you explain to them that you don't expect a gift at each.

I know Janna came to a couples shower I had here in town, but then also hosted the baby shower in Florence. So... she went to both but I told her I just wanted her there, if that makes sense!

Thanks! I just feel like if I am inviting their Moms to the shower then my friends should be invited too. She is one of the ones that this applies to. I talked to her about it this weekend, and told her she can wrap up the same gift for each if she wants to lol.

Yes... I definitely think they should be invited if their moms are invited too!
