Moving on to injectibles, how different will this be from Clomid/Femara?

So the first 2 cycles on Clomid and Femara were a bust, so we're moving on to injectibles. Gonal-f.

For those of you that did injectibles, which meds were you on?

Did your follies mature sooner on injects than oral meds?

RE seems to think I'll be ready sooner on injects, just wanted to see what everyone's experiences were.

I did 3 cycles of Follistim after 3 cycles of Clomid. I responded pretty much the same on both (no issues, 2-4 follies each time) in the same amount of time. Of course everyone is different. GL!

Just wanted to send you some good luck! I did use Gonal-F with my IVF cycle but not with my IUI cycles, so I am probably not much help. I didn't have too many side effects with Gonal-F as compared to Clomid, which was the devil drug for me.

I have no experience with injects and IUI. I was on menopur and bravelle for my IVF.

Hey thanks! We're deciding whether we'll do this IUI as our last and then move on or do 2 more IUIs. We will see. I'm curious to see how I respond to the meds though, I start tomorrow.

I did one cycle with just follistim and had 3 follies and did the IUI on CD 14, the next cycle (my BFP cycle) I did follistim and menopur and had 4 follies and did the IUI on CD 15. My eggs suck though so take that for with its worth.

I did repronex. Not sure how that differs from gonal-f.

all my info for each cycle (amount of meds, resulting # of follies, etc... is in my old bio. I think I C&P to save before they changed the bio format here. I will email to you if you like (assuming I can find it)
