Only in a colder climate.......

would you consider a day in January that is going to be 32 degrees going to the zoo weather!!!! It has been so bitterly cold in the midwest that today is going to feel so nice that Hayden and I are going to the zoo. Our zoo has a lot of buildings so the only outside walking is just a couple of minutes in between the buildings. The best part of going this time of year, is that there isn't a crowd. LOL!!

    WOW!  It would be like going to the zoo here in the summer when it's 115.  No way!

    Nope, we don't start doing out door places like the zoo until it is more like 60! I just don't want them out in the cold more than they ahve to be!

    I know what you mean! This morning when I walked Toodle into daycare I was thinking how warm it felt and that he probably didn't even need his hat for the 10 foot walk from the car. When I got back, DH said it was 24 degrees, LOL.

    lol, I totally get what you mean. I put on a lighter sweater today when I saw it was going to reach 28 today. After -5 this feels balmy!

    I absolutely LOVE going to the zoo on days its chilly and wet (here in Seattle) because there are no people, the animals are all near the glass because of the heater bulbs, and they're hunkered down so you can actually SEE them!

     A 40-ish day is perfect here! And there aren't many indoor areas in our zoo but I still love it!
