In my obsession lately over double strollers, I came across this one at BuyBuyBaby. The Baby Jogger City Select with the 2nd seat in front. If you have one, pros and cons please
don't have this but have been looking at double strollers as well. the one con to this one is you have to remove the seat everytime you fold it up if you use it as a double stroller. kind of a PIA in my opinion. I think we are going with teh citi mini double .
I was also previously eyeballing the Britax B-Ready - my only issue with that one is that the 2nd passenger, once they outgrow the infant seat will only ever see the back of his siblings butt since they sit below them from the back. Other than that they can only see side to side. When I saw it in the store also it's a little on the wide side.
I originally bought it for my 2u2 and hated it...I wound up exchanging for Britax B-Ready. The CS was just too long and hard to push.
So how does your older child like the rumble seat underneath? Are they okay with not being able to see in front of them? This is what I've been struggling with with the B-Ready but I still kinda like it.
There really isn't that much of a difference between the '10 and the '11 City Selects, just a couple of upgrades that don't really change the seat that much.
Just an FYI, they are unloading the 2010 models for some great prices. Like albeebaby.com
We got the Onyx version from albeebaby and I'm really happy with it. We don't have two kids right now but this stroller was purchased with that in mind. One complaint that I have heard with parents who have two kids is it can get pretty hard to lift the front of the stroller up and onto a curb with the added weight in the front.

This was my issue with the B-Ready. I didn't like the layout with the child tucked underneath, it looked so cramped.
I have it and I love it. The only con is that it is heavy, but most double strollers are. The seats are big enough, and the different configurations are great. As PP said, there are MANY posts on this and other strollers. GL!

She's sat back there a few times and was ok with it. She even took a nap with the seat reclined. I think they have more room than it appears. But for the most part, she sits up front and DS is in the back in his car seat or bassinet. Britax doesn't show you pics of the bassinet in the back, but it fits in the rear car seat adapter perfectly (sold separately)

Here is a pic I took the other day at the mall. DD is in the front seat and DS is in the back in his carseat. Like I mentioned above, you can put the bassinet down there too facing you. A newborn can even lay in tthe second seat because it reclines flat (unlike the Uppa Baby)...plus you look straight down and you can see them perfectly. I think I'm just gonna keep DS back there, even as he gets older b/c I assume he'll be used to it and won't know the difference, and DD has been "front riding" her whole life, LOL. Also, here is a FB link to an album I created with most configurations. I was still pregnant with DS at the time, so no pics of him in it, and I didn't have the carseat adapter for the back, so I have no pics of the carseat or bassinet in the back.

I have the Baby Jogger City Elite double. It is a side by side that fits through a standard doorway. I started out with a Graco tandem double and HATED it because it was long and awkward and the child in the back was constantly kicking or bothering the child in the front. The side by side is much easier to maneuver and my kids rarely have conflicts with each other in it. It doesn't hold an infant seat, but I got it when my kids were old enough to sit without the infant carrier.

This is great, thanks for all the photos!! Very helpful!! My only other downside to the Britax is that I have a Chicco carseat - which would require yet another expensive adapter to purchase.... which I need to check on when I get home anyway to make sure it's not expired and then I'd need a new infant seat anyway, in which case I'd probably get a Britax so I might as well match right? lol...
Re: City Select Double... got one?
there are a bunch of posts on this on 2 under 2. seems to be a popular stroller choice. I have been looking at it vs the britax b-ready.
someone also posted this link this morning: https://stroller411.com/blog/249/uppababy-vista-vs-baby-jogger-city-select-vs-britax-b-ready/
