One of my dearest friends gave me this book last night as a present and I started crying by the second page. Turns out she is close friends with the illustrator. It is one of, if not the most, sweetest book about being a mom and the circle of life that I have ever seen. Just thinking about it now makes me tear up. I strongly recommend it.

Oh, and I thought I would add, this is not a baby book. This is a mommy book. It is a bit too deep and maybe somewhat sad for a baby.

It just made me think of my mom and how much I love her.

I have that book. I still cannot read it to my daughter (she's 3) without crying. My husband even has trouble reading it!
