PSA: Yummy Kid Friendly Recipe!!

I found this recipe and thought it looked good. Hayden isn't too picky but he likes what he likes and so I thought I would give it a try. He LOVED it and DH and I thought it was good as well. It is super simple and has about 15 min. of prep work.

Cheeseburger Cups

1 lb. ground beef

1/2 cup ketchup

2 Tbs. brown sugar

1 Tbs. mustard

1 1/2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce

1-2 tubes of Jumbo biscuts (the recipe makes 12 biscuts)

1/2 cup cubed cheese (like Velveeta)

In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, mustard,a nd worchestershire sauce. Remove from heat; set aside.

Press each biscuit onto the bottom and sides of a greased muffin cup. Spoon beef mixture into cups and top with each with a cheese cube. Bake at 400 degrees for 14-16 min. or until golden brown.

  • Mmmm I think my kids would totally eat that up- just out of curiosity, do you just need the cheese to melt on top or does it need to be the melty kind that gets all gooey in the meat?

I bet you could sneak finely chopped veggies in there too ;). Thanks for the recipe!

I am sure you could probably use either. Yeah, you could sneak something good in there as well like carrots or something.
