TTC After a Loss

Ovulation Kits

Hi girls. After our first month of trying "this time around" based on charting resulting in a BFN, I think we want to get ovulation kits next time. I've seen all kinds of stuff mentioned here, but never paid a lot of attention. Can you please let me know which kinds are the best, why, and how they work? Thanks!

Re: Ovulation Kits

  • I like the First Response ones although my pockets have been making me get the cheapies. It is a little hard to distinguish +'s the first time around, but it didn't take long for me to recognize a true +. I like them better than the digitals because it allows me to see if I am getting close (lines will get progressively darker), so I can get in more BD time.

  • I like the digis as well, because I suck at comparing.

  • I first started using the First Response ones, but it was to hard for me to figure out, so this month I am trying out the Clear Blue Digital ones. I found them on amazon.com for $23+tax, which is alot better than $35 for the First Response. I also like how the digitals are individually wrapped.

  • I've been fine with the cheapies.  I like being able to pee on them w/o guilt and see the line get progressively darker.

  • Like PPs, I like the Clear Blue Easy digitals. It makes the trips to the bathroom at 2 PM at work go a little faster if I am not stressing over a line!

I like the clear blue easy digital ones because I am horrible at comparing the lines.   The digitals have smiley faces so you don't have to interpret anything.  They are more expensive though!

How they work = you pee on them.  :)

Same here. I buy them off Amazon. They're about $7-$8 cheaper there than my local drugstores.

  • I order both wondfo cheapies and CBE digitals from Amazon.  I use the cheapies until I get what I think is a positive and then use the digitals to confirm.  Plus seeing the smiley face makes my day!
