It's been so long since I've been on this board! Lurking sometimes but mostly just crazy busy! Anyhow I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with some of these symptoms:
1. DD1 seems to have some type of vaginal infection, Things are red down there, inside her little folds and she had a bit of wierd discharge in her diaper today. I noticed this first about 2 weeks ago and thought it may be due to a change in wipes so I switched to a sensitive wipes for a week and also tried to use some cream she had from a past yeast infection for several days but that did not clear it up. No foul odors or any wierd discharge until today. She also seems to be grabbing herself down there and very sensitive, also some issues around potty training which she is interested in but we are not pushing in any way right now. Last night she wanted to sit on her potty chair but was upset and then peed on the ground next to it. Didn't want a pull up or diaper on either. Do you think it could be a UTI or yeast/bacteria infection or both? Anyone with experience with this?
2. She is cutting 5 teeth right now, a few of them are molars. She has vomitted several times in the past week and also seems to be gagging a lot and choking when nothing is in her mouth maybe just the saliva increase? She has also been grabbing her throat a lot but otherwise has no symptoms of a cold really.
We are calling the Pedi first thing tomorrow and taking her in but I'm just concerned and wondering if anyone elses LO has had these types of symptoms before and what it turned out to be. Any help is greatly appreciated as I am just worried about her, but need to get myself to bed and stop googling symptoms and freaking out over here! TIA!!
Re: Soo many symptoms, do you think they could be related?
The throat think is likely just the teeth which could also explain the vomiting. Then again, I thought my LO was just teething recently only to learn she had strep throat.
Dont freak out. Whatever is going on is likely easily treatable. Just stop googling because that never seems to help.
This should do the trick.
