Shortest petite jeans?

I need some shopping help.  I am SOOOO sick of having to get my jeans hemmed...and I hate how they look.

So, who has the very shortest petite jeans?  Most retailers have a 30 inch inseam...I need a 28 inch inseam.  (yes, my legs are that short, lol)

Any thoughts?

    I'm pretty sure Ann Taylor has shorter than a 30 inch inseam. I would prefer a 30 so I can have more shoe options but sometimes AT pants are shorter than that (their pants have different lengths in general-- I have some standard size pants that are a 31 inch inseam where as some are as much as 33 inches and then must be hemmed even with heels for me.

    I hear you.  I also have a 28 inch inseam (if I'm wearing flats).  One I asked for a pair of jeans with a 28" inseam and the saleslady laughed at me.  Needless to say, I did not buy anything there, nor have I have ever been back to that store!

    I find that Banana Republic petites fit me, if I am wearing heels.  Also, Joe's Jeans has a petite style (the Provocateur) that is also an appropriate length.  Other than that I'm not sure!  Good luck, I really hate buying short length/petite clothes and still needing to hem them.

    I hear you.  Seriously - I am so freaking short. :)  I have just resigned myself to having to get all of my pants tailored :)

    What store laughed at you??? How rude! You should have pulled a Pretty Woman on them ;-)

    As for the original question....I honestly just usually look like a bum with ratty jeans :-P I tend to buy cheapish jeans and I'm pretty hard on my clothes, so they don't usually last long enough to look really bad.

    I wish I had a good answer for you!  Depending on where I'm shopping, I usually wind up buying Juniors size 1 or 3, or Petite 0 or 2, and then STILL have them shortened.  Guess being 4'10'' I shouldn't be surprised.
    After 20 months TTC with PCOS, we were blessed with twins!

    my sister is 4'11" and swears by Pacific Sunwear jeans.
