We ran out in such a frenzy, we didn't even remember to bring the camera 
Even if we had taken it, there wouldn't have been any time. The only pics I have from that day are two crappy first edition camera phone pics and two pics the NICU nurses took. Boo
Hopefully this baby's in less of a rush....and THIS time, I'll be packing the bag at 24 weeks!

LOL, we ran out of the house quickly too since my water broke before I was full term (36 weeks 4 days). My plan was to finish packing my hospital bag the upcoming weekend, but I never got that far! But, I did remember my laptop & camera! The baby's bag was packed though.

lol, that's exactly what happened to me! I wasn't quite as far along, but my water broke at 33w6d when I was sleeping and it was all I could do to find pants and a bra to put on. DH threw stuff in the bag and the camera didn't make the cut. I had NOTHING packed, hadn't even thought about the bag at all yet. Didn't even have the car seat installed (of course, we couldn't use our car seat since DD was too small, so that worked out).
I am in Centreville, too! The three of us should meet up for dinner or something sometime

And...got you all beat on the labor day thing. No bag, no clothes, no camera, nothing. (I literally only had sweats and flipflops - I hadn't even begun thinking about packing a bag!) We do have a couple camera phone pics that they took on the way to wisk DS to the NICU. When they asked us in the c-section if we had a camera we laughed at them in disbelief - ummm....I'm 23w5d and didn't really plan on delivering tonight. So, no...we didn't think to pack the camera! Now, save our son please!

lol yeah, if DH hadn't been thinking clearly, we would have had the same. Fortunately, he thought to grab our toothbrushes and some sweats. But I had like nothing, no hair brush, none of my clothes, nada. I think I worke a pair of DH's sweats and his sweater the whole time. I was just totally out of it and scared....and in denial, I really, REALLY didn't think I'd be having a baby that day. I knew my water broke, but for whatever reason, I just didn't think we'd have her. And we might not have had her that day, they talked about keeping me on bedrest, but then she was in distress, so we had no choice. But really, I should have known if my water broke, I'd be staying at the hospital until the baby came. Oh well! Hopefully next time goes a little better for us!

yep! i love taking pics & just got a brand new digital slr for christmas - hoping to learn how to get some good use out of it. oh & i'll def let you know if i have any suggestions or anything for the blog.
