Sharp pains in breast...

Has anyone experienced this? This is a new symptom for me and I don't know if it's pregnancy related. It started last night. Only in my right breast. It was so bad last night that it woke me out of my sleep. When I rub my breast where the pain radiates from it hurts as well. It feels like someone is stabbing me. Ugh. If it continues I plan on calling my doctor but I was wondering if any of you had experienced this or know what it could be.

I get it in my left one. A hot compress on it or hot shower helps. Also what DH calls a Boob rub. I was told it's the milk glads expanding.

I had them last time but not this time. I found if I rubbed it and made it through the pain it would start to feel better. Like pp it is the milk glands and growing breasts.

I don't have experience with this personally, but a friend of mine who just had a healthy baby had these pains somewhat regularly through 2nd tri. Her doctor said it was normal and part of the "fun". Nothing to worry about until next appointment.
