A little early but I just finished planning for the week. Whats on your list this week?

SU- Carnitas tacos/ black beans/ salad

M- Hot sandwiches made with homemad rolls/ baked french fries

T- S.O.S./ mashed potato/ salad

W- Pork Adobo/ white rice

TH- Chicken salad sandwiches/ chips

F- Peruvian soup

S- Turkey burgers/ homefries/ corn

  • I'm using up my freezer meat and leftovers this week! It should be an inexpensive grocery week since I am mostly buying produce and lunch items! :)

    Sun - Salsa chicken, beans, tortillas
    Mon - Boneless pork chops over creamy mushroom rice, green beans
    Tue - Leftover Turkey Chili, salad
    Weds - Marinated steaks, potatoes, broccoli
    Thurs - Teriyaki Chicken, rice, salad
    Fri - Leftover lasagna, salad
    Sat - Trader Joe's frozen Orange Chicken, sticky rice, stir-fry veggies

  • (sorry for lack of paragraphs - on the ipad) - Sunday - no clue, DH is in charge :) Monday - Cassoulet Tuesday - Pot roast and a mashed sweet potatoes Wednesday - Spinach salad with sauteed scallops Thursday - Gumbo Friday - driving to NH to take DS skiing for the weekend, so we will eat on the road Saturday - still in NH

  • I'm really loving this board!  Between daily to do lists and weekly meals, you ladies are going to help me be a very organized SAHM!

    S:  going out to eat (Ethiopian restaurant, yum!)

    M:  veggie "chicken" and dumplings

    T:  stir fry tofu and veggies

    W:  veggie lasagna with zuccini instead of pasta

    Th:  stuffed shells with spinach

    F:  left overs to clean out fridge  (leaving for vacation on Saturday)

  • Everyone's menus sound really good!  I stole a few ideas for next week.

    Here's mine:

    M- Black bean burritos, spanish rice, tomato/cilantro salad

    T- Meatloaf, mashed taters, and green beans

    W- Homemade calzones (with green peppers, onions, and pepperoni)

    TH- Lemon rosemary salmon, brown rice, and carrots

    F- Shrimp Po-boys, carrot/raisin salad, and homemade chips.

    S- Taco Soup with cornbread

    Sun- leftovers (I don't cook on Sundays)

  • Cleaning out the cupboards and fridge this week!!  I've left off Saturday since that is the day we'll be shopping again and I dunno what we'll eat that night.

    Sun - Nachos (ok, so I did go and get a couple things this morning because it just sounded really good!!)

    Mon - egg salad sandwiches

    Tues - Goulash

    Weds - Pancakes and sausage

    Thurs - Fettuccine Alfredo

    Fri - Rice and veggie dish

  • I am pregnant and nothing sounds good.  UGH.

    (I think we are going to go out Sat to our fave local fondue place - it is like 100 times better than Melting Pot - can't wait!  And, so much cheaper than MP - we can get 4 courses for $40 total for 2 ppl - YUMMY!)

  • Sun: chicken, coucous, spinach

    Mon: veggie lasagna 

    Tues: veg fried rice and veg egg rolls

    Wed: homemade pizza 

    Thursday: pasta dish

    Friday: not sure yet..

  • In no particular order the meals I am prepared for in the next week or 2 are:

    (we have salad and bread w/ pretty much every meal)

    - spinach stuffed shells

    - gumbo

    - vegetarian mishmash (red pepper risotto, asparagus, fruit salad)

    - breakfast for dinner (biscuits, eggs, sausage for my guys)

    - stuffed bell peppers

    - tortellini

    - homemade pizza

    - red beans and rice, steamed broccoli

    - tuna salad sandwiches, raw veggies, fruit

  • Monday- paleo biscuits and gravy (that I didn't get to the week before) with peas

    Tuesday- beer can chicken, green beans, and sweet potato fries

    Wednesday- meat loaf, mashed cauliflower, and kale

    Thursday- chicken piccata toss (with leftover chicken from Tuesday)

    Friday- leftovers

  • M- HB egg, tomato, boursin cheese sandwiches baked on a baguette with homemade veg soup.

    T- Spinach and ricotta ravioli with a salad.

    W- Going out to dinner to celebrate DH last day at his old job!

    TH- Organic chicken thighs, marinated and grilled with mediterranean curry couscous and steamed broccoli. 

    F- Make your own pizzas with a salad.

    TH - leftovers

    F - chicken pot pie and peas

    S - sweet and sour meatballs, rice and carrots

    Su - basil pesto tagliatelle and Caesar salad

    M - roasted chicken and vegetables and sweetcorn
