what do you eat when nothing sounds good?

ok, not only do I have the all day nausia, but I have a wickid bad cold.

dinner tonight consisted of blueberries, yogurt, and a milkshake with protein powder added.  so not healthy.  but nothing else sounded remotely appetizing.

so what do you eat when nothing sounds good? I mean I need to feed this growing baby, but ugh.  it's not easy.

Re: what do you eat when nothing sounds good?

  • Usually a bowl of cereal (I try to have mostly healthy ones on hand, but every once in a while I just need sugary crap, lol), or some yogurt, or maybe toast w/ peanut butter. So I guess I default to breakfasty type stuff.

  • Cereal... when nothing sounds good, I at least will eat a bowl of Multigrain Cheerios. Not exactly vitamin packed, but its better than nothing I guess...

  • Tortillas or peanut butter and jelly.

  • Nutella......mmmmm. DH wasn't feeling too well the other day and I didn't want to make myself dinner, so I made some pancakes and spread Nutella on top. It was heavenly.
  • cereal.

When I was pg with DD, I had a strawberry milkshake or strawberry milk. Once I had that in me, I could at least consider eating other things. And what's unhealthy about blueberries, yogurt and a milkshake? Sure it's not completely balanced but it's better than french fries and a cheeseburger! Don't be so hard on yourself.

  • Bowl of cereal is a good one.

I am not in the mood for anything, but I am hungry.  I am eating cheese (sandwich) crackers and a glass of chocolate milk.  I guess the salt and sweet give me the hunger fix.

  • I've been eating triskets and clementine oranges if I dont feel like anything. Not so healthy, though. I'll have to get some special K or something.
  • Peanut butter toast, a glass of milk, cheese and crackers, cereal (but usually just a handful out of the box not a whole bowl), those are my go-to things.

  • I'm right there... nothing sounds good at all....

Grilled Cheese has been good. I also am liking grapes and cucumber.

  • Usually the only thing I can eat is egg noodles with some butter on them.

My doctor said follow the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, dry toast) as much as possible when I'm sick.

  • This is a late response, but I'm also eating lots of cucumber and grapes.  I had 4 cucumbers in the past week.  Dairy isnt sounding right to me at this time. I am still eating saltines and watery soups.
