Has anyone used stroller.com?

If so, how quick is their shipping?  I sold my P&T Sport on craigslist (just couldn't stand the jump seat underneath anymore), and ordered a BJ City Mini double on stroller.com.  I order almost everything on Amazon, and get free two day shipping since we have a prime membership, but stroller.com had it for $30 cheaper with free shipping.  I didn't see anything about how long it would take, and I'm impatient!  LOL  Just curious.  I guess I'm spoiled with Amazon's shipping.  :-)

Re: Has anyone used stroller.com?

  • I have ordered from CSN, which is the company that runs Stroller.com.  It was normal delivery time.  5-7 days.  I think I ordered on Sunday and got the car seats on Thursday.

I hated my P&T too.  I sold it on Craigslist for $20 less than I paid for it 2 years before.  I think it is good for shorter people, but for me it was a PITA and hard to push compared to my mountain buggy.

It's crazy because I was so excited to get my P&T less than a year ago, but it quickly started annoying me.  The tires popped easily, the rear jump seat wasn't ideal, the break was impossible to use, etc.  I ended up selling it for a LOT less than I thought I would be able to (I paid almost $500 9 months ago, listed it for $425, and ended up getting $340 for it), but the BJ wasn't as expensive, so it wasn't a huge deal. That's great that you were able to get your money back!

  • I got a really good deal on it to start with.  I paid $380 and sold it for $360.  The tires popped all the time if I actually inflated them.  They tried to tell me it was an isolated problem and I must be doing something wrong, but it happened a ridiculous number of times.  The tires have a faulty design.  I never saw one that had properly inflated tires, always mushy, which makes it harder to push.  I have a chariot and a mountain buggy and in 4.5 years have had only 2 flats.  The phil and ted had like 10 and I seldom even used it.

Glad it wasn't just me.  They also told me that I must be doing something wrong, and after I insisted that I hadn't, the said they I probably overinflated them.  They still sent me some replacement tires, but they took over a month to get here.  Pushing two babies with semi-flat tires is exhausting!
