im new to board...

I gave birth @ 35wks due to high blood pressure, my baby weighed 4lbs 15oz and is in the NICU because of his size, he was breathing fast and he has jaundice. My son is progressing great and hopefully he'll be home soon. I am breastfeeding and it has helped him so much. I hope to develop friendship here :)

    Welcome! My baby was one day shy of 35 weeks. We spent 8 days in the NICU, mostly because of jaundice. Melody had to be readmited today to the NICU, because her bilirubin count went up too high. I hope your baby's stay in the NICU is short.

    Thank you, ladies. I hope your baby gets better. Its soo heartbreaking to see them in the NICU with all those tubes and getting poked constantly!!! I feel helpless but, I know he'll be better and stronger in no time!
