What is sweetest comment someone has said to you??

We all discuss the "OMG, She really just said that to me" kind of comments but we don't talk about the sweet or encouraging things people say. So what is yours??

 Mine- "I know just know that you will be a wonderful mother and do a great job."  It metled my heart. Smile

    Great idea!

    I can't think of a single thing now. :( My MW made me feel like I was a freak of nature to still be out of maternity clothes for baby #2 and that made me feel pretty good.

    Along MLM's lines, my midwife told me I was "an extremely healthy pregnant person" when we discussed my eating habits, vitamin regime, workouts, and lifestyle. That was really nice to hear!

    One of my good friends always says how great of a mother I'll be. That's the only thing I can think of.......

    The mother of the family I used to nanny for told me, "There is no one else that deserves this baby more than you and David.  This is such a blessing for everyone."

    When we got our BFP I signed my SO up for weekly email updates about the baby's development but I wasn't sure how much he would read them. Last weeks update was talking about weight gain around the middle and how it wasn't fat, just the body preparing for baby.

    Well yesterday I was telling him that I couldn't believe how big my belly has gotten so fast, I don't look pregnant yet but it seems to have gotten huge in a matter of two days. He put his hand on my belly and kissed me and said "it's not fat".

    Seems he's paying more attention to the emails than I thought :)

    I've gotten the "you're going to be a great mother" comment from my close friends, but my daddy has taken the cake. He's 62 and is learning to text message. It cracks me up every time I get one. After DH and I got home on the day we told them our news, I got a message saying "I'm really really really really fourteen more reallys happy for you. I love you and that baby so very much." Every time we talk, he wants to know how all three of his babies are doing!

    A friend of ours said "With you and J as its parents, your child has no choice but to be a huge success in life."

    When we told my 96 year old grandpa we were pregnant with twins, tears welled up in his eyes and he said "I prayed to all the saints in heaven for this, and did novenas in church whenever I could" (my dad must have told him we were having trouble). It was a good way to make a pregnant lady cry....:)

    We sent out announcement cards about two weeks ago.  My best friend from high school received hers the on her birthday.   She sent me a note saying that this was the best possible birthday present she could ask for.

    What a nice idea for a thread! :)

    The first one that popped into my head was similar to a lot of these - when I called my brother & SIL to tell them, SIL answered the phone. I told her we were expecting, and the first thing she said was, "You guys will make such good parents!!"  


    Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta.
    BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.

    " You are going to have such a little adventure baby!" "You two are going to be the coolest parents" "I can't think of two people that would make a more awesome baby than yours will be" Plus, I loved reactions from friends and family that were just over-the-moon excited about us having a baby- it made me get more excited and happy!

    BFP #1: 10/2011, Pre-eclampsia in last 6 weeks, emergency C-section, DD born 6/25/11

    BFP #2: 8/16/14, Ectopic Pregnancy & Methotrexate Inj. 9/5/14, Adverse MTX reaction, HCG levels down after 2 weeks

    BFP #3: 2/23/2016, EDD 10/28/2016
