humor me... pain part 2

the ute pain pretty much checked out ok on friday morning, there is/was a fairly large pocket of fluid in the ute, but she said that was "fairly normal" post D&C and no worries. Still no fever, normal bowels, no appetite, but I AM IN PAIN around the clock. I've stopped all pain meds that could be masking a fever, and still no dang fever.  It's a dull pain, still more on the sides than middle.

The pain is now kinda a "gut rot" pain, like a huge stomach ache, almost. The only odd thing is I'm burping kinda a lot. Which kinda means nothing if my poop is normal or I'm not barfing, 'me thinks. Right now I'm still just calling it "trauma from the D&C" and maybe just some general malaise stuff after being pregnant and running around crazy after the surgery when I should have been resting. But if this sounds like anything to anyone, please pipe up. I don't need flowers or anything, lol. I just refuse to go to the doc again to hear "you're fine, go rest."

    I had some pretty bad pain after one of my d&c which was later found to be a huge freaking cyst on my left ovary. NO one could understand how i got that cyst since I hadn't taking any meds for well over 12 weeks to induce ovulation.

     

    If you are still having the pain tomorrow, I would call your OB and tell them you want u/s because this pain is that bad!

    no cysts. we checked. Oves are quiet and simmering with small lil' antrals. I should mention I'm still bleeding, 2 1/2 weeks out. fairly heavy spotting, but if I have that pocket of fluid, I'm not going to freak about that.

    Don't want to freak you out at all.....but this excessive fluid - could it be that they missed some stuff in there, causing your body to react by creating fluid that is causing pain?

    well, not silly to think that, but she pulled up the u/s, evidently there were some in my charts post-D&C, and says "nope, here are the ones post D&C and those are clear, so they got everything...." and wouldn't you think my body would create a fever to something like that? esp MY body, that rages at even an embryo? (my body is having a "flare up" right now as it is, big time.... so this fluid would not go unnoticed and unwarned)

    I'm so stumped. and really tired of hurting.

    I'll go back in tues or wed if it's still there, but dang, this has STUMPED me. I need Dr. House and his cane to work me up, haha.

    Another question - are you on 800mg IB every 4 hours? It works hormonally and might help with the fluid - not so much the pain but one might lead to the other. It woudl not mask a fever.

    I was taking 600 q 6, for the pain, but I stopped about 36 ago to see what happened. I'm going back on it, I"ve had enough.

    the burping thing is weird for me. seems like a silly symptom, but a symptom, none the less, haha.

    Could it be a clot in the cervix, causing fluid back up and pain?

    Just throwing out thoughts as they come to me!
