Help! Maternity formal wear

A good friend of mine got engaged and her parents are now hosting a formal engagement party in Bethesda. I am at a complete loss as wear to find formal maternity dresses. Anyone have a suggestion that won't break the bank?

It was super easy and relatively cheap. I got two dresses and paid less then if I had gone somewhere like Nordstroms or Pea in the Pod for one dress. They come pretty quick.

  • I was playing around on there, unfortunately the dress I liked isn't available in my size! I have 2 weeks for them to get it back in.

I am glad to hear from someone who had a great experience with them, it is such a great idea and I just can't justify spending so much money on something I will really only have an opportunity to wear once before baby arrives!

  • Would any of your pre-PG dresses fit you still?

At 22 weeks, I wore an unaltered bridesmaid dress in a friend's wedding.  At 32 weeks, I wore one of my regular dresses to another wedding - it was just cut empire style so it fit the bump.  :)

What size are you?  I'd be happy to lend you one if you are interested!
