Which RE do you see? What are their success rates? I've been going to the Fertility Center of Maryland and I was just comparing FET rates to those of Shady Grove. Shady Grove has 50% and Fertility Center of Maryland only has a 20% success rate for FET's. Could this be because they have more patients though??? Guess I can't worry about it too much now- we were successful with our DD at the Fertilty Center of Maryland but that was after 1 clomid cycle, 2 iui's and 2 ivfs. I'm just scared because we only have these last 2 embies to use and then we are finished with IF treaments. Neither of us want to go through it for emotional and financial reasons. I will say I had excellent IF coverage through my insurance though but sadly I think after this I used it all up.
Re: ? for those of you who live in MD?
When you say Shady Grove, are you talking GBMC? I went to both GBMC (before it became SG) and Fert Center. Didn't have success at either so we went to Cornell.
At the time I went, their #'s were pretty close, so I do have to wonder if SG's #'s are so much higher because they have more people OR because maybe they are better. I don't know!

My cousin did the Fertility Center of MD and then she switched to Shady Grove. She has yet to be successful with either.
My SIL went to GBMC and then to the same place after it was bought by Shady Grove. She had success each time she went!
I hope you don't mind me posting. I am also at the FCM, and was at SG. Are you looking at the success rates on the SG website or the SART-because one of the things I've noticed is the success rate at Rockville is higher, and they only report Rockville on the website.
When I compared the SG to FCM-SG/GBMC's success of FET is 22.2%, Rockville is 29.6%, and FCOM is (based on 2007 which is the latest you can get) is 40.5%. Do you have different data-because I'd love to see it!
I will tell you that I (personally) am much happier at FCOM than I was at SG.
