What did your baby look like? More than just a little bean? Could you make out the baby's head, arms, legs, etc? I have my first u/s on Monday (I'll be 9w4d) and I'm so excited! Just wondering what my baby's gonna look like.
I had my u/s yesterday and I was 9w4d (exactly where you will be) and you could see everything.
You could clearly see the head, little arm nubs, little leg nubs and it was wiggling and dancing all over. You could see the blood pumping through the umbilical cord and movement near the heart. My u/s tech let me take my still camera and put it on video and take a video of the movement and sound of the heartbeat. Awesome to be able to show this to DH.
It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen!

Ditto what everyone else said. However, my little one likes to show his behind. So on the two pictures I got you can't see anything other than his head, spine, and butt.
I had my first u/s at 9 weeks 1 day and was able to see the head, tummy and a little tiny baby leg. I think our baby was sleeping though cuz he/she didn't move at all. as a matter of fact, in the 2nd photo we got, it looks like the baby is posing for the camera!!! lol. it was the coolest moment of my life by far!

On the regular ultrasound, our baby looked a lot like eesome's pic. We were very lucky and they did a 3D picture for us too. You can see that in my siggy. That was at 8w6d.
This was at 9w 1d... you can see the head, little leg nubs, and little arm nubs... baby was on his/her side, but it was still so cool to see the baby squirming around!
Best of luck to you at your u/s!!!

We were 9w3d when we had our dating ultrasound (the baby measured 9w6d) and our little one was just a movin' and a shakn'! The coolest thing ever. I had a transvaginal ultrasound done and on one of my ultrasound pictures I swear you can count his/her toes! Let me see if I can post one here...
Okay I know you can't really count his/her toes...but it is still really, really cool to see. Have a great time!
We had ours done at 9weeks6days and thats the picture in my siggy. The baby was moving around and moving his/her arms so it looked like the baby was dancing!
Mine looked like a kidney bean. Sorry to disappoint! But it had a nice strong heartbeat of 170! Good luck. It's tons of fun. We're having another one this week and I can't wait to see how much the baby has changed!

Dear God, Since I couldn't hold my little one in my lap and tell him about you, could you hold him in your lap and tell him about me?
We had ours yesterday at 10w1d. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my entire life. The baby had little arms and legs and it was moving all over the place! It even got hiccups during the ultrasound! Like pp said it was one of the best moments of my life.

Us too! My husband said our babies looked like teddy grahams.
