Moving on to injectibles

Got the BFN news yesterday (sorry my world has been crazy lately and I don't get on as much as I'd like!). Surprisingly, I was ok with it. Somehow, I just *knew* it didn't work.

So, it's one to injectibles for me once AF shows. I kind of wish I didn't have to be on progesterone supps bc it sure does seem to delay AF. Last time it took 6 days to arrive.

I can't believe I'm moving on to this stage, but I'm pretty excited too.

Thanks Trish. I guess we'll just have to see what happens and they will increase, decrease as needed.

Papps - thanks. I hope injects are the answer for us! I think I'm going Gonal-f.

I can't get over the monitoring that needs to be done. At a minimum, CD3, 6, 8, 10, and as needed after that. Damn!

I hope I don't have to go in 10 times, that would be so expensive. =(

I seriouslyfuckinghate not having insurance for any of this and it scares me that I have to pay for each visit.

I am sorry about the BFN. I hope that the injectables is just what you need!

As far as the monitoring, I was lucky I guess, we did one cycle of injects + TI and I went in on CD 3 and then on CD 8 and I was told to trigger on CD 9. My RE considers follies mature at 16 and I know some places won't have you trigger until your follies are at 18 or 20, so I am sure that may be part of the difference. Hopefully you won't have to go too many times.

Sorry to hear about your BFN =(. I'm also starting injects next cycle and scared about all the monitoring appts. Best of luck to you and hope this first cycle of injects and IUI is the combo that brings us our BFPs! Keep us posted!

Sorry to hear about your BFN. We are moving on to injectibles as well. I have class to go to about them and then start the meds once AF comes (which should be soon!!)
