The 2WW drives me into insanity. Especially now that we are seeing an RE and they schedule a pregnancy blood test so I have a date I stare at on the calendar. I have yet to make it to one of them (always get my period before).
The 2ww. But, the cycles when I have the possibility for anything to happen are those when I am on so many meds and monitoring, you don't really have much time to think about things until you are waiting for the result.

Me= 37 and DH = 41
Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
After! I feel like in the 2 weeks leading up to O we can be proactive and contribute to the results. The 2ww is just plain waiting, and waiting ... and waiting.

The 2ww is much worse for me. Leading up to ovulation I am at least DOING something proactive to get pg with all the shots, monitoring, etc. As soon as the IUI is over though...NOTHING. Ugh. Plus the time it takes me to ovulate, especially on meds, is always much shorter than my luteal phase. This cycle for example I triggered on CD9. I'm now on day 13 of my 2ww knowing that I probably have several more days to go! I'm going crazy just wanting to know either way!
Mr. & Mrs. UMich! July 2006! :-) DX: High FSH/DOR
It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm! ?Our Baby Boy Born June 26th, 2012?
For me, it's the 2nd week of 2ww. The fist week I'm kind of optimistic. The 2nd is just complete anxiety followed inevitably by disappointment. I also get EXTREMELY stressed out right around O time that something will happen & I won't be able to have the IUI, or there will be a huge snowstorm, DH will be traveling, etc.
TTC #1 since Jan 09
Jul 2010 - HSG, SA, U/S BW - all clear
Nov 2010- Mar 2011 - 50mg Clomid, HCG Trigger & IUI 1-4 All BFN
Apr/May 2011 break
June 2011 - New RE, New Plan
July 2011 - Gonal F, Ovidrel & IUI #5
July 2011 surprise BFP on a break cycle before injects!!! Please let this be it!
Cautiously expecting our miracle on Feb 25, 2012
When we were trying w/o meds I would get frustrated when I ovulated late (like, day 23 or 24). But now that it's more predictable it's the TWW that kills me.

This is exactly how I feel! I hate feeling like I'm just sitting on my hands with no way to "help" the process.
