Vent regarding public bathroom etiquette

I went to the gym this morning and after I get done working out I go to the bathroom to dispose of my pad (used for pee leakage not AF - completely obnoxious that I have to wear a pad to workout now since I pushed a big head through my woo-haa but that is another post) in the feminine receptacles. I neatly roll up my pad, wrap it in tp and open the receptacle to find a nasty, disgusting bloody tampon applicator and a nasty bloody pad, not rolled up or wrapped in tp. Both were just shoved in there, not descretely placed in the receptacle liner. What is wrong with people?! I don't want to see your nasty bloody stuff. No one does. Please wrap in tp and make place in the liner in the receptacle. Thank you. Vent over.

    Totally gross. That happened once in our office women's bathroom. One of my colleagues put up signs everywhere that said something like - I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR BLOODY DISGUSTING FEMININE PRODUCTS, PLEASE DISPOSE OF THEM DISCRETELY. They (the signs) grossed me out every time I saw them (I didn't want to be reminded of the mental image), but they definitely worked!

    Do you know what's worse that that? Wiping your a$$ and then throwing the paper poop stains showing and stinking up the bathroom hours after you've left.

    No lie. I've seen this and know people who do it.
