Well, it looks like we have to pick another donor.........

I have been on pins and needles waiting for the test results for our donor and I got the call last night at 5:00.    

I knew in the back of my mind that with an AFC of only 8, that things were not looking great for her.    Well, her numbers came back and her FSH was elevated and her AMH was low.    The nurse said to start looking again.    

I called the agency this morning and now I am waiting for the call back to start things over again.     I am upset but happy that we did not go all the way into the cycle to determine she was not a good fit.

    Ugh I am SO sorry! Hopefully you will find an even better donor! Hopefully my bleeding stops and I can send you some more leftovers for the new donor!

    Also, I saw your post the other night that you sent me a PM but I never got it...

    How frustrating.  I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time with this.  Good luck with the next donor... the right one will come along!
    Dx: PCOS/Amenorrhea/Anovulatory/lining problems. Clomid = BFN's. Lots of cancelled cycles due to thin lining or cysts. IUI#1= Follistim, estrace and endometrin = BFN IUI#2= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories and endometrin= BFN. IUI#3= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories, femtrace and endometrin= BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isabella born in June via C-section!!!!! She is so incredible! Went back to RE to TTC#2 and got a WONDERFUL surprise!! Baby #2 on their way!! My Beautiful son Liam born Feb, 2011!! Lilypie image Lilypie First Birthday tickers

    You're right - it's better to know now.  It's still hard, though!  I hope you find another great donor as quickly as possible!

    How frustrating - I'm sorry.  I don't know anything about donor eggs, but it really seems like the agency should check those things before signing on!  Any chance you can request the basic tests before moving forward with your next donor?

    I'm sorry you have to regroup and start over.  I hope the rest of the process is quick and easy for you.
