What is your favorite pregnancy pillow?
Hi Ladies!
I am just 11 weeks along, but I wanted advice from those of you who are further along. I have a nasty habit of sleeping on my stomach, which my doctor keeps telling me I need to stop. I thought a pregnancy pillow may help me stay on my side. My husband bought me the snoogle and I really like it except for one thing- it seems really thick and stiff under my neck. I am used to a lot thinner pillow so the angle bothers my neck. I was thinking about exchanging and I am wanting to get one that will be comfy through the next 2 trimesters, so I wanted to see which pillows you like?

I agree with this. For me, just a regular body pillow was the way to go!

I have a snoogle too, but I abandoned it probably mid-second trimester. I also ended up tangled up in it somehow in the middle of the night. To be honest, I've been much more comfortable sleeping on my side without it.
Mid-third trimester I began using a husband pillow some nights to make myself sleep sitting up because of bad heartburn/acid reflux
I agree! I use it between my knees and to help support my belly. I usually end up throwing it off the bed in the middle of the night, but it has helped! I also have a lot of regular pillows and make a little nest around my head and one behind my back. I am a total stomach sleeper and it was a hard habit to break! I think the pillow behind my back and the body pillow under part of my stomach helps me stay put.
I have been using the boppy wedge pillow, and it's been an absolute life saver. I've also got a long bolster that I sometimes lean up against, or put my arms around. But the wedge pillow has been the real life saver for me, and it's much easier to move around if you roll from side to side than a full body pillow.
I've also found that my hips hurt a lot more if I put a pillow between them. I don't know why, as that seems to be what most people use to stop hip pain, but I find it's comfy at first, then I fall asleep and wake up with sharp pains in my hips.
I am with everyone else with the Target Body pillow! I got mine for like $10 and I move it to make myself as comfy as I can get now.

Boppy Pregnancy Wedge...it doesn't look like much, but it has been a life saver! I also sleep with a pillow in between my knees and sometimes one behind my back so I don't roll over.
Same here! My cousin gave me her pregnancy pillow that wraps around my body, but the body pillow is the most comfortable!
I don't think we're any help either.... 4 votes for the snoogle here! mine is nice and soft (not think and stiff like you mentioned yours was). I love to curl up in it. I've always slept with a pillow between my knees so I enjoy that the snoogle curls around me and goes between my knees. DH snuggles up with it when I get out of bed in the morning and both my yellow labrador and my cate love to snuggle up against it during the day when they sneak into our bed! So my entire family loves it, lol
