Update: I got the call to take the Ovidrel tonight between 6-8 pm. How do I dispose of the Ovidrel needle at home?

On Monday, I go in for them to check my progesterone at 7 am and my IUI will be at 11 am.

Good Morning Ladies,

I got back from the u/s this morning. None of the follies on the right developed past 5 or so, Dr didn't even bother to measure them. On the left, I have 1 follie @ 25 and another follie @ 17. They consider anything at 22 or above mature at this office. She said the follie at 17 might mature as well.

Now, I just wait for them to call me to tell me when to take my trigger shot and when the IUI will be.

Sounds great! Good luck:) My Re considers anything over 18 mature...he even said that some 16's can have a mature egg.

Good luck!!!!

My RE considers anything over 16 mature for triggering purposes. I've heard it's not good to let them get too big either. Hopefully you'll get to trigger today and the 17 will mature the rest of the way.

I hope I can trigger today as well. I was wondering about that because I thought 25 was really large!!

You can go to a local pharmacy to buy a small sharps container, but I just use a empty water bottle:)
