Success after IF

Why I love my Ergo reason #27

DDs are both sick with fevers at the moment.  One seems to be feeling better, but the second one just doesn't feel well.  So, she's on my back and content while I clean up the kitchen, fold laundry, check email, etc.

Re: Why I love my Ergo reason #27

  • Was it hard to learn to use the Ergo?  I just got one for baby #2 and hope to actually use it this time.  The carrier I got for Nicholas I ended up not using and sold it.   I'm hoping I have better success w/Ergo.

Nope, not hard at all because it's a structured carrier.  I've generally done a back carry since I didn't get my Ergo until my girls were about a year, but it's essentially like putting a backpack on (click waist strap, one shoulder, other shoulder, and then chest clip).  It did take a few times to figure out the logistics of how to get a toddler on your back by yourself. I will say that I haven't tried the hip carry because that looked a little too complicated and for me, the back works the best anyway.  The front carry seems even easier.  Good luck!  I adore mine!!
