Minor emotional moment this AM

I just opened my bump page and it said 3rd Trimester. WHAT!!! How did that happen? 27 weeks, I remember a very dark time in my life when the doctor told me I would never be able to have kids. and now here I am. I have been so careful about getting attached because I am still at risk of pre term labor or late pregnancy loss but I almost feel like I can let go a little bit. Just a little. We are still not going to find out what the gender is but maybe I can relax just a little bit. I am so blessed and greatful!

I heard the 3rd tri started at 28 weeks.... that's what i'm going with anyways. ;-)

There are different ways of calculating trimesters. The most common seems to be taking 40 weeks and dividing it by 3 to give you 3 equal trimesters.

I'm so happy for you and your accomplishment of making it to the third trimester! I sometimes forget how lucky DH and I were with how easily I got pregnant and that I've had quite an uneventful pregnancy. Every time I see posts like this I am reminded of how greatful I really should be. Praying the rest of your pregnancy goes well and you have a healthy baby!
