Re: ***vandelay***
Hi! I was talking about things like cakes and cookies; things that would be baked from a batter containing butter or milk. I also had pumpkin pie over Thanksgiving, which is made with condensed milk, but is baked as well. I read that baking makes the milk proteins easier to tolerate.
Oh, and Duncan Hines and Ghirardelli brownie mixes don't contain or call for any dairy, and Oreos, Nutter Butter cookies, and I think Lorna Doone cookies are dairy free as well. Just a little survival tip!
Hang in there, I know it sucks!
thanks! what about the frosting? is it okay for the cake to have frosting? (which is usually milk or butter-based, i think.
i have big plans regarding chocolate, chocolate-frosted cupcakes that they sell at barnes and noble.
