lanolin?

DD has a diaper rash and aside from letting her go naked and putting her in a pre-fold without a cover, I need to put some cream on her tush. I can?t find the quote CD safe creams here, so I was wondering if pure lanolin would be ok to use. What about a zinc lotion that contains glycerin but no oils? Any suggestions would be great.

    Do you have any fleece liners? You could use it with fleece but by itself, lanolin can cause repelling issues.

    California Baby diaper rash cream is safe and its easier to find than others. I still recommend a liner because it did leave some white marks behind.

    I put a tiny dab of lanolin on DS before he goes to bed to prevent diaper rash and if his bottom is ever looking a little pink. Lanolin washes out with hot water and is the main ingredient in the CD safe creams I looked into. I haven't had any problems with repelling so far. 

    I have heard that lanolin can cause a rash to become worse if the rash is caused by yeast, but I don't have any experience with that.
